Rtx 2060 will cost 349 usd with a performance similar to the gtx 1070 ti

Yesterday we learned that the new mid-range graphics card from Nvidia, GeForce RTX 2060, was going to be released on January 15, and today we have confirmation of its price and the performance it will offer.

We can confirm that the GeForce RTX 2060 includes 1920 CUDA cores, 240 Tensor cores, 30 RT cores, 120 TMU and 48 ROP. The 1680 MHz boost clock will be the same for reference cards and Founders Edition.

RTX 2060 is a mid-range model that will replace the GTX 1060 with Pascal architecture. Judging from the performance tests that have been released by the folks at Videocardz , it seems, the new Nvidia graphics card will offer similar performance to the GTX 1070 Ti, with 50% more performance (on average) than the GTX 1060.

In both tests, both 1080p and 1440p, the distance between the RTX 2060 and GTX 1070 Ti is too short, with very little fps difference. The difference with the GTX 1080 is also very close.

The most notable difference that would be between the RTX 2060 and GTX 1070 Ti would be the Ray Tracing capabilities of the former. Nvidia should present this graphics card at CES 2019 along with the various custom models.
