We all know that Nintendo is not going through its best moment, after the tremendous success of the sales of the Wii, they have seen as its successor, the WiiU is being the console of the current generation less sold despite having been released to the market long before PS4 and Xbox One. For months we have been hearing rumors about its successor and now we know that the Nintendo NX will have a similar performance to Xbox One.

Nintendo NX with AMD hardware

The new Nintendo NX will arrive with an x86 processor and a GPU manufactured by AMD, exactly the same as what happens with PS4 and Xbox One. A movement that has a lot of logic and that undoubtedly seeks to facilitate the work of developers so that they can carry video games from the consoles from Sony and Microsoft to the new jewel of Nintendo.

There are many details to know but it seems that the new Nintendo NX will have a performance similar to Xbox One, in this way it would be even easier to port the games, ignoring the differences in the architecture of the CPU + GPU set that surely will be.

Communication with tablets and smartphones?

The Nintendo NX could also use its Bluetooth connection to communicate with a multitude of devices such as tablets and smartphones, something that is in line with the intention of the Japanese firm to launch games for Android and iOS and that would allow new possibilities for players.

Hopefully the new console will give Nintendo back all the prestige it has lost in recent years… although by power it seems that we are going to have to continue to settle for playing at 30 fps and 1080p resolutions or lower. What do you expect from the Nintendo NX?
