The latest tests of AMD's RX 5700 series and NVIDIA's RTX 2070 SUPER graphics cards have come to light. The tests were detected by TUM_APISAK in the FFXV (Final Fantasy XV) database, which has previously listed many graphics cards with their respective performances prior to release, so these results can be very revealing.

RX 5700, 5700 XT and RTX 2070 SUPER are measured in Final Fantasy XV

The performance and comparative tests of Final Fantasy XV were carried out with a resolution of 2, 560 x 1, 440 pixels with the quality at high. Of the three cards, the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT and NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER will compete with each other, as their price is very similar. The RX 5700 XT will be available at a price of $ 449 when it hits stores on July 7, while the RTX 2070 SUPER will be available at a price of $ 499 when it hits stores on July 9.

Final Fantasy XV is usually more optimized for NVIDIA cards, so let's keep this in mind.

The results, as seen, clearly favor NVIDIA's RTX 2070 SUPER, which is way ahead of its RDNA- based counterparts. The surprising thing is that the RTX 2070 is 15% faster than the RTX 2070 (not SUPER). This puts it on par with the GTX 1080 Ti, which was previously replaced by the $ 699 RTX 2080.

RTX 2080 and GTX 1080 Ti offered similar performance for roughly the same price, but with the RTX 2070 SUPER, you can get pretty much the same performance as a GTX 1080 Ti for $ 200 less.

The RX 5700 XT in this benchmark works on par with the GTX 1070 Ti. The RX 5700, on the other hand, is almost as fast as a GTX 1660 Ti for $ 379. This makes the Radeon RX 5700 XT 10% faster than the 5700, making the vanilla variant without XT sound like a good option for $ 120 less.

We will have to wait for the launch of both graphics cards to check how representative these results are in more games.
