XFX recently unveiled its fully custom design for the Navi 10 with the Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC II. In the last few hours, XFX released an even better variant, the RX 5700 XT THICC III Ultra.

RX 5700 XT THICC III Ultra is thicker and has three fans

Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC III Ultra by XFX is similar in design to THICC II Ultra. The difference is the dimensions of the THICC III, which makes the THICC II look really small compared to it.

This is all due to an additional fan and more space on the heatsink added to the card, which would help the card to operate at lower temperatures when running at full speed. Speaking of clock speeds, the card is said to run at a maximum clock of 2025 MHz and a 'Game' clock of 1935 MHz, while the base clock is set to 1810 MHz. The card features 8GB of GDDR6 memory at 14 Gbps through a 256-bit bus interface, with a bandwidth of 448 GB / s.

The RX 5700 XT THICC III Ultra graphics card also has a width of 2.7 slots and a black cover with silver edges along the sides and around the fan cutouts. There are more blades than in the previous variant (11 vs 9). The two side fans are 90mm wide, while the center fan is 100mm.

These fans come with ZeroDB fan technology, which means the fans will stop spinning if the card is in idle mode or has not reached a certain temperature threshold. Due to the additional fan, the XFX logo on the back of the cover has been removed, however the logo still exists on the back plate.

A triple DisplayPort and a single HDMI port are included.

There's no word on the card's availability, but we should expect it to sell for around $ 500, considering the THICC II Ultra costs $ 439.99.
