A full range of AMD CPUs and APUs have been seen online including 4th generation, 3rd generation Ryzen chips and the new Threadripper. The leaked list comes from Komachi, which has obtained a list of several processors that have not yet reached the market.

List of new processors appears online from 4th generation APU series, 3rd generation Threadripper and more

The list includes a whole series of processors for which we have not yet seen an official confirmation. These may be placeholders for the upcoming lineups, but the list is really interesting, especially the fourth-generation APU lineup that is expected to launch next year.

First off, we have the 4th generation Ryzen APUs codenamed Renoir. It would have support for the FP6 (Notebook) and AM4 (Desktop) platforms. The current line of AMD Ryzen notebooks is based on the FP5 socket and since the FP6 is a completely new socket change, we can expect a drastic change in the feature set of the Renoir CPU generation. The list is as follows:

  • AMD Ryzen 9 B12 (45W) AMD Ryzen 7 B10 (45W) AMD Ryzen 5 B8 (45W) AMD Ryzen 9 PRO B12 (15W) AMD Ryzen 7 PRO B10 (15W) AMD Ryzen 5 PRO B8 (15W) AMD Ryzen 3 PRO B6 (15W)

From the looks of it, AMD would be segmenting its 4th Generation Ryzen line of laptops into regular consumer and PRO consumer variants.

Moving on to the desktop pieces, we know that AMD will offer its third generation HEDT Threadripper CPUs. The list includes 16-core / 32-thread and 32-core / 64-thread models. Both models are 280W listed, but that could be the definition of the maximum limit supported by the SP3R3 socket which is also being highlighted as TR4 +. R3 would mean the 3rd revision of socket TR4:

  • DT Ryzen Threadripper 280W SP3R3 (16C) DT Ryzen Threadripper 280W SP3R3 (32C) CPK Consumer 16C 32T 140WMTS Consumer 8C 16T 45W SP4r2MTS Consumer 6C 12T 45W SP4r2

In the list we can see that there is a mysterious 16 core 32 core consumer CPU which are listed with a TDP of 140W. This could be indicative that AMD works on a model above the Ryzen 9 3950X, probably with higher clocks.

Be that as it may, there is a lot of movement in AMD with new Zen CPUs that have yet to hit the market in all its segments, APU, desktop, HEDT and servers. We will keep you informed.
