Samsung unveiled its newest member of the Galaxy S line to the world at CES 2015 on January 6 and 9. So far, several rumors about the device circulate around the world, a little more plausible and others less. To help a little "separate the chaff from the wheat", we decided to create this Preview with everything expected of this new mobile phone from the South Korean brand, paying attention to what can really appear on the device.

At the moment we have quite controversial information. First of all, we must remember that the Samsung itself admitted to having made a mistake with the visual presented by the Galaxy S5. However, all recent leaks indicate a design basically identical to the following device, which goes against what we all expect, especially if we take into account the so-called "Zero project", where the company would completely renew the design of its line with this device.

The Galaxy S6 has a distinctive line of sight, with rounded edges and a physical "Start" button and two capacitive buttons for accessing the multitasking and "back" screen. It should be noted that the company must improve the water resistance of the device, which may also involve design changes so that the internal components are better protected.

Another important point to note is the possible launch of a Galaxy S6 Edge version, which has more powerful hardware, visual and curved screen for both sides.

Appearance and construction

This is a feature that should be taken seriously by Samsung with its next release, at least according to the rumors that have emerged so far. The Galaxy S6 has an all-metal body, which would breathe new life into the device after so many years the line being constructed of plastic.

Furthermore, we have information that the device can be built in graphene or aluminum, both extremely resistant and light materials at the same time, indicating that the following device is not exactly a “brick” simply because it owns more noble materials in its construction.

First of all, we must remember that we are working with two versions, that is, it may be that the Galaxy S6 is available in two different versions, once again with old hardware and another with everything that is new on the market. Recently, I had even leaked some benchmark tests with the SM-G925F, which would be the Edge version of the device.

If this really happened, that we will have the standard version of the device with practically the same specifications as the Galaxy S5, it is only updating the system and a few internal components, such as cameras and the sensor.
