Samsung currently has two families of phones in its high range. We find the Galaxy S and the Galaxy Note. The first range arrives in February and the other in the market in August. But there are rumors that this Korean brand strategy could end soon, in 2020 to be more concrete.

Since the Korean brand could unite these two ranges into one. So they would have a range only within this segment of the high-end.

Just a high-end

One of the brand's doubts was the names for these ranges, since the Galaxy S11 or Galaxy Note 11 are given too long names. Therefore, Samsung has spent months designing various plans for its high-end, in order to avoid this problem. One of the plans that the company would be considering, which is the one being discussed now, is to unite these two ranges into one.

Several sources claim that this discussion is still ongoing at the company. So a final decision has not been made, although this possibility is gaining strength within the Korean firm. So we could have a single high-end family in 2020 on their part.

On the one hand it would not be something strange, since many consider that the Galaxy S range and the Galaxy Note range are not so different. The differences between them have been narrowing, so it could be more comfortable for Samsung to have a single family of phones in the high-end range.
