Samsung to focus on entry and average ranges in 2016
According to the Korea Times, the almighty Samsung would be planning to reduce the number of smartphone shipments for next year in addition to focusing on the low range.
Samsung would be planning to reduce the shipment of new smartphones by 12% compared to 2015, a new strategy of the South Korean in which it would focus more on the sale of low-end units that are those that are in greater demand by users. Samsung's new A and J series achieved excellent sales figures during 2015, something that would have encouraged the firm to make the decision to focus more on this market niche.
A decision that would not deprive us of seeing new top-of-the-range smartphones from South Korea in 2016, remember that the Galaxy S7 is expected to be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona.
