When they say that history repeats itself, it is usually true. In fact, Samsung has used mockery against its great competitor, Apple's iPhone, to promote its flagship Galaxy S9 smartphones. The new spots, titled Dongle, Fast Charger and Camera, are part of a broader advertising campaign called “Ingenius”.
Samsung teases iPhone camera, lack of headphone jack, and more in Galaxy S9 promotion
In each of the videos, Samsung shows an employee of an Apple store chatting with a customer, trying to justify the iPhone compared to the Galaxy S9, when it comes to the camera, connections, and more.
In the first announcement, a customer asks if he can use his wired headphones with the iPhone X, and the Genius informs him that he will need an adapter. The customer then asks about being able to charge the device at the same time, and the Genius says that it will need another adapter. The customer says, "So, a double adapter."

In the second ad, which has the same format, a customer asks if the iPhone X comes with a fast charger, like the Galaxy S9. The employee says no, informing her that she can purchase a Lightning to USB-C cable, along with a USB-C power adapter, for fast charging. The client is puzzled. Of course, according to the latest rumors, Apple will include a faster charger of 18 W in the box of its next iPhones 2018.

The third announcement specifies that the Galaxy S9 + camera has a higher DxOMark score than the iPhone X camera (99 vs. 97). However, let us remember that DxOMark has been the subject of numerous criticisms.

The first announcement in this series, released earlier this week, highlighted the higher LTE download speeds of the Galaxy S9 versus the iPhone X.
The ads do not hide at any time that the action takes place in an Apple store, however, it is a tradition in Samsung to use mockery to promote their own products.
