Samsung has 64gb ddr4 modules

Korea's Samsung have already started mass production 64GB DDR4 RAM memory modules.
This achievement is possible thanks to the use of the innovative manufacturing technology through silicon via 3D , which allows the adoption of a vertical structure and easily stacking several dies of memory "crushing" them, reducing their thickness and interconnecting with each other. Each of these modules uses a total of 36 4 Gb chips manufactured in a 20nm lithographic process, representing a very important advance in the sector.
The main beneficiaries of the arrival of these new modules will be the professional sectors where enormous amounts of RAM are used, while for a normal user, mounting a 256GB quad chanel does not make any sense.
