It is a different concept than what we have been left with with this Fold. But the firm seeks to have a wide range of folding models, with various systems.
New folding phone
This new Samsung model would be of the shell type, which means that it would fold horizontally in half on its screen. It would have a screen of 6.7 inches in size, as has been revealed so far. Also, when folded, this model would have a shape similar to that of a square, making it different from the Galaxy Fold in this regard.
There are elements that would be similar to what we have seen in the Galaxy Fold. Although it seems that the firm seeks to present a different model, which has a different style. Also, it seems that the firm is not going to make us wait to see this phone.
According to the new information, Samsung would start the production of this new folding phone later this year. The presentation of the same would take place in early 2020 officially. So the Korean firm already has this model very present in its strategy. We will see if these rumors are true or not.
