Scythe ninja 5 is announced accompanied by two fans

The Japanese specialist in air cooling solutions Scythe has announced the launch of its new Scythe Ninja 5 heatsink which is accompanied by two high-performance fans.

Scythe Ninja 5 becomes the new top of the range heatsink from the Japanese firm, this is based on a traditional tower type design and reaches measures of 155 mm x 138 mm x 180 mm, so it will have to be measured well twice the space available in our chassis before going through the box. With these dimensions it becomes one of the largest heatsinks on the market, so it is to be expected that its cooling capacity is up to the task.

The main body of Scythe Ninja 5 consists of a large aluminum fin radiator, these have the function of maximizing the surface of heat exchange with air to achieve the maximum possible cooling capacity. The radiator is pierced by six copper heatpipes with a nickel plating to prevent corrosion and keep them looking new for years to come. Despite its large size, the heatsink has been designed to be compatible with RAM memory modules up to 55mm high.

Finally we talk about the attached fans, these are two Kaze Flex 120 units with a size of 120 mm x 120 mm x 27 mm and PWM operation thanks to a 4-pin connector for the base silver. The inclusion of two fans, allows to generate a large air flow with a turning speed of only between 300 and 800 RPM, which makes the maximum noise is 14 dBA so you will not even know that they are rotating. These fans are manufactured with the highest quality bearings to reduce friction and increase durability up to a minimum of 120, 000 hours.
