Seagate has gone to CES 2020 with many new features, however, some things stood out especially, such as the Lyve Drive Mobile system.

Lyve Drive Shutte is an external SSD with a capacity of up to 16TB. The capacity is downright spectacular and being an SSD it is also quite fast. However, it is not the only product in the company's Lyve Drive Mobile line.

Developed to meet the need for data movement between different endpoints, the Lyve Drive system comes in several flavors. First in line is a Lyve Drive card reader and card solution, offering 1TB CFexpress cards on the go, and a portable reader so data can be read on the fly.

Another part of the ecosystem is the Lyve Drive Mobile Array, which offers a rugged, sealed solution for carrying up to 6 of Seagate's 18TB Exos HAMR (Heat Assisted Magnetic Recording) Hard Drives for a total capacity of 108TB.

The other line is the Lyve Drive Modular Array, a flexible 4-bay solution that offers various configurations for businesses, so your deployment strategy for these devices varies. It uses multi-stakeholder Seagate MACH.2 technology that transfers data simultaneously. Last but not least, we have a Lyve Drive rackmount receiver, which is a 4U rackmount hub that allows direct connection of Lyve arrays to the data center, without the need to reconnect any data center networks especially for storage transfer.
