Let's go with a new rumor of the upcoming NVIDIA graphics. In this case, a 3DMark benchmark has appeared suggesting a performance of the GTX 2060 5GB similar to that of the GTX 1070.

GTX 2060 5GB: The rumor is not far-fetched, but it is difficult to confirm

A Twitter user posted a link to this mysterious result in which the GTX 2060 appears to have the same performance as a GTX 1070.

Most false 3DMark rumors are based on the publication of manipulated screenshots of makeup results to look like a new generation card. Their differentiating character is that they do not appear in the official database nor are they accessible in any way.

In this case, we do have a fully accessible and existing 3DMark Fire Strike result. As expected with products that have not been released, the graphics card is not recognized, but neither is the processor, so it is totally unknown if they are manipulated. The only thing that indicates that it would be a GTX 2060 5GB is the description, which is modifiable and is not conclusive since it could be manipulated in a completely intentional way.

The result is 15894, and we compare it above with that of a GTX 1080 (left) and a GTX 1070 (right), and it is seen that the GTX 2060 5GB would have a performance similar to the latter.

Such a result is reasonable, but we will still have the question of whether it is something real. The one who passed the test could have taken advantage of a program failure or made a change in a computer with current components so that the results appeared with unknown components and later added the description of "GTX 2060 5GB".

Update: We have carried out a legitimate 3DMark test so that you can see that the name and description of the test can be modified without problems.

Keep in mind also that 5GB are not crazy either because there is a version of the 1060 with this amount of VRAM. The GTX 1060 6GB usually has a result of 11000 to 12000 in Fire Strike. What do you think of this? Leave us your opinion in the comments.
