Once again the guys from Digital Foundry bring us an interesting video comparison between the PS4 and PS4 Pro consoles to see the differences. This time the games are Shadow of Mordor and Watch Dogs 2 that promise to get the most out of the renewed Sony console. Is the upgrade worth it?

Shadow of Mordor and Watch Dogs 2: this is how they look on PS4 Pro

First of all we told ourselves in the Shadow of Mordor game, once again we did not see significant differences between the two game consoles. Only the some images we can appreciate a higher graphic quality in the case of the PS4 Pro but it is not relevant. The PS4 Pro offers us two modes of operation of the game, the first of them seeks the highest quality at 1080p and the second raises the resolution to 4K, again the differences are very few and we will not appreciate them unless we put the two images side by side side.

Next we have the game Watch Dogs 2 in its version for the PS4 Pro, the game works at a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a speed between 20 and 30 FPS so it neither reaches 4K nor is it capable of maintaining at least 30 FPS steadily. The game has been compared to the native 4K resolution PC version and logically there are differences in image definition and graphic quality, for example with more realistic shadows and more vegetation. Really the PS4 Pro version looks very good, the console is capable of offering very good performance for a price of only 400 euros.
