We continue talking about the new PS4 Pro and it is that with the desire that we all had it is normal that the comparatives with his little sister flood the network. This time it is Skyrim: Special Edition that has been put under the magnifying glass to evaluate the experience that the new Sony game console is capable of offering.

Skyrim: Special Edition PS4 vs PS4 Pro

Skyrim: Special Edition stands out for being one of the first games that is capable of running at a native 4K resolution in the new PS4 Pro, this makes us think of a very high image quality that is not possible to achieve in other titles that work at 4K rescaled. The negative point is that this 4K resolution is offered at just 30 FPS without the possibility for the user to choose another mode, for example a 1080p operation and 60 rock-stable FPS like the ones we have seen in Battledield 1 in Sony's new console.

This new Skyrim: Special Edition for PS4 Pro offers a level of graphic detail that is equivalent to high on a PC, the demanding 4K resolution has not allowed to offer a detail equivalent to ultra mode on PC. The differences are especially noticeable in the drawing distance, the textures and of course the FPS rate since on PC we can easily put it even above 60 FPS if enough hardware is available. Definitely another facelift with a good score for the PS4 Pro although we would have liked to see a mode at 1080p / ultra / 60 FPS.
