SilentiumPC is announcing the availability of its new Signum SG1 chassis. Compact and efficient, these PC cases are geared towards low cost.

SilentiumPC Signum SG1 is a new series of low cost PC cases

Combining functionality and some style, the Signum SG1 is an excellent chassis option for PC owners who don't want to spend too much money on a chassis, an increasingly widespread trend.

Inspired by automotive design, the distinctive hexagonal side holes are not just for design, they also provide ample airflow within the case, vital when we want to put together a powerful kit.

The Signum SG1 chassis supports ATX, microATX and mini-ITX motherboards and offers ample space for the latest graphics cards with a length of up to 325mm, as well as for CPU air coolers with a maximum height of 161mm. Buyers can install liquid cooling systems with 120/240 mm radiators at the top and 120/240 mm, as well as 360 mm radiators at the front. The only downside here is that it is not a wide chassis, it is narrower and that may limit the use of large CPU coolers.

In total there are 6 models of the Signum SG1, below, we detail the differences:

  • SG1 - has a mesh front panel and a single 120mm Sigma HP fan at the back SG1 TG - mesh front panel and two Sigma HP 120mm fans SG1M - minimalist metal front panel and a single 120mm Sigma HP fan in the back SG1M TG - minimalist metal front panel and a single 120mm Sigma HP fan at the rear SG1X - the high-end version with dual tempered glass panel and RGB ring fans (available mid-March)

Its price starts at 35 euros for the most basic model.
