Silverstone Argon AR12, An Entry-Range RGB Cooler

This new Silverstone model is relatively discreet in size. In fact, we found a model with a height less than 160 mm: 154 mm to be exact, which makes it compatible without problems with most boxes on the market.

The radiator itself has a very basic finish. The fins are gray and the heat pipes are not nickel plated. In addition, the four 6mm heat pipes that make up this model will be in direct contact with the CPU, as can be seen in one of the images in the lower area.

As for ventilation, the manufacturer opts for a single 120mm fan. Powered by PWM, this model has a rotation range between 700 RPM and 2200 RPM. At full speed, the fan is quite powerful and offers an air flow of 68.9 CFM and a static pressure of 2.7 mmH2O.

This fan also features RGB "tunable" lighting and will be connected via a 12V four-pin connector. In use, it will not be possible to control each of the fan diodes. Lighting is standard RGB and not ARGB.

Finally, when it comes to mounting, the largest sockets on the market will be ignored. The TRX40 and LGA-2000 are not suitable for this refrigerator. The TDP limit is 125W maximum.

At the moment, we do not know the price of this model. We will keep you informed.
