Unboxing and Exterior
The SilverStone Redline RL06 comes to us in a large cardboard box, the exterior design shows an aspect that we have already seen before on several occasions with a great image of the product and the brand logo.
The box is very well protected by several pieces of foam and a plastic cover to avoid any type of damage before reaching the hands of the end user.
The SilverStone Redline series aims to provide users with the excellent features of the higher-end chassis but at much more competitive and affordable prices than we are used to seeing, the SilverStone Redline RL06 is no exception.
We find the following bundle:

The main objective of the SilverStone Redline RL06-Pro chassis is to offer the user excellent cooling possibilities, something very important for a product that wants to offer high-end features. Let's not forget that the more powerful a computer, the greater its need for cooling. To perfectly fulfill its objective, it has the possibility of installing up to three 120mm fans on the front or two 140mm fans, thus generating a large flow of fresh air that will enter the interior of our equipment. The negative part is that this has had to do without the 5.25-inch bay.
It also offers us the possibility of installing two 120mm or 140mm fans at the top and a 120mm fan at the rear that will take care of drawing hot air. Fans of liquid refrigeration are in luck because the SilverStone Redline RL06-Pro chassis allows for the mounting of a 120mm, 140mm or 240mm radiator at the front alongside another 120mm radiator at the rear and a radiator 120mm or 240mm at the top.
This PC chassis offers us such interesting features as great cooling thanks to the presence on the front of two 140mm fans with LED lighting to give it a more attractive touch and generate a positive air pressure. The design of the chassis will also minimize the accumulation of dust inside, thus maintaining a cleaner air flow to the main hardware components of our new computer.
One of the most differentiating features of the SilverStone Redline RL06-Pro is its large plastic side window that will delight even the most foodies by offering the possibility to see all the hardware in operation.
We found an attractive front with red trims that break the monotony that would create a completely black design. At the top we have the front panel where we find two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports and the 3.5 mm connectors for audio and micro.
We also find the classic seven expansion slots that ATX form factor chassis like this usually feature.
At the bottom of the box we find four plastic legs so that it rests better on the floor and better isolates it from possible humidity, an outlet for the power supply to breathe and a filter to prevent dust from entering the interior of the box. box.
SilverStone Redline RL05 Interior
To access the interior of the chassis we only need to remove the side panel as best sources in the plastic window, the Silverstone RL06-Pro is compatible with ATX and micro-ATX format motherboards, so we can mount all the most popular models on the market.
Many of you may be wondering: What compatibility does it have with heatsinks, graphics cards and PSUs? It allows us to install heatsinks with a maximum height of 15.8 cm so we can put many models although we must pay attention to their height. On the other hand, it is compatible with ATX power supplies with a length of up to 200 mm. As for the graphics card we can put units up to 34.8 cm.
It incorporates a set of cables: two USB 3.0, typical cables for the control panel and AUDIO HD connector.
The bays for hard drives allow us to install them without the need for tools, we find two 2.5-inch bays and three bays that will serve us for 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives.
Already in the lower part we find the hole for the installation of the power supply, this is the most suitable position since it allows the heat generated to be expelled directly without affecting the rest of the components, just as it would if it were in the upper part.
It is important to note that the area of the power supply has a total plastic coverage to isolate our hardware even more from the heat that it generates in its operation and especially the design of our equipment.
WE RECOMMEND YOU Asus GeForce RTX 2070 Strix Review in Spanish (Full Review)Assembly and experience
As usual we have assembled a high performance team. In our case, an i7-7700k with a Gigabyte Z270X Gaming 8 motherboard, 32GB of DDR4 memory, a GTX 1080, 1000w power supply and a single tower heatsink.
The assembly has been quite fast and in a matter of 20 minutes we have been able to make a beautiful assembly and not at all difficult for any user who begins to make assemblies.
If it is true that organizing the wiring could be improved, since we have little space on the side where the cables are hidden. But with a little skill and patience you can get a good result, so I recommend a modular power supply.
Of course, it looks great as the assembly with the sheet that covers the power supply and the hard drive cabin. Excellent work!
I leave you a final view, with the equipment on and how good it looks its red LED fans (They are not RGB).Final words and conclusion about Silverstone RL06 PRO
The new Silverstone RL06 - PRO case offers absolute compatibility with standard microATX and ATX motherboards. Its cooling capacity with 3 front fans, its clean internal design, the power supply cover and the capacity to house high-performance hardware make it a great candidate for PC Gaming configuration in 2017.
In our tests we have been able to verify that its refrigeration is totally suitable for high-performance equipment. It has left in great temperatures both the graphics card and the i7-7700k processor.
The incorporation of grids in the upper area (magnetized), front and lower area of the tower allows us to clean quickly. By bringing a positive pressure as standard, it keeps the equipment as cool as possible and the entry of dust is zero.
Another of its strongest points is its price. It is already listed in Spanish stores for an amount of 89.95 euros. Currently there are not many options that offer such good performance for this price.
