Thermalright is launching the great hr heatsink
Table of contents:
Thermalright seems to be on the verge of giving a second youth to his enormous HR-22 heatsink. Initially released on a single radiator a few years ago, it has recently been re-spoken of in China with photos of a black version, albeit without actual information. Surprisingly, it was an HR-22 PLUS that finally appeared on the brand's Chinese site.
HR-22 PLUS - Thermalright seems to be about to give a second youth to its huge HR-22 heatsink
Regular customers of the brand will have guessed that this version is now equipped with a fan, and more precisely with a TY-143B, that is, a 152 x 140mm fan and speeds ranging from 600 to 1800rpm for air flow 90.96CFM and a static pressure of 3.0mmAq.
Thermalright has also changed the fixing of this heatsink, which is now not done through drilled holes in the fins as in other models the brand.

The radiator remains unchanged with dimensions of 120 x 150 x 159mm, with a total weight of 1170 grams. The thermal performance of the HR-22 PLUS should be superior, not only due to the size of the radiator, but also due to the 8 heat pipes that pass through the base, better distributing the heat generated to all the aluminum.
Finally, compatibility is mentioned only with those Intel motherboards: 775, 115x, 1366 and 20xx. At the moment, we do not know if this model will have a version for AMD or if some type of extra assembly was implemented. We will keep you informed.
