Thermaltake has joined the club of manufacturers that have their own RAM memories and also with RGB LED lighting thanks to their Thermaltake TOUGHRAM RGB modules. We discuss all the details of design, speed and customization of this new series.

And it is that in terms of TOUGHRAM RGB series specifications, we have frequencies of 3000 MHz, 3200 MHz and 3600 MHz, in DDR4 modules with 8 GB of storage each. They will be offered in packs of 2 or 4 modules to make a total of 32 GB. These memories will be compatible with Intel 100, 200, 300 and X299 series chipsets. The brand does not offer information on compatibility with AMD, so in principle they are suitable for the CPUs of the blue giant.

Regarding the TOUGHRAM series (without RGB), they will be available in a frequency between 2400 MHz and 3000 MHz, also in 8 GB module configuration . In both cases they are compatible with the WaterRam RGB liquid cooling kit that we will also see throughout today.

These memories offer custom JEDEC profiles through overclocking, so of course they will be compatible with XMP 2.0. But it is not everything, because these modules with aluminum encapsulation will be able to be managed and synchronized with the lighting ecosystem of the brand, as well as with Razer Chroma. As in other products, we will be able to interact with the voice thanks to the fact that the software is compatible with Amazon Alexa and TT AI Voice Control.

Availability

These modules will be available for purchase from July 2019 on the Thermaltake official website and from authorized distributors. We do not have prices for these reports yet, so it will be time for the brand to communicate something about it.
