Tronsmart Spunky Pro technical characteristics
Unboxing
The Tronsmart Spunky Pro has come to us in a very small package of hard cardboard, which is a vertical opening box similar to that of the Smartphone. In turn, it remains sealed with a plastic sheet that completely covers it. Excellent presentation for a product as cheap as this one.
Inside the bundle we find the following elements:
- Tronsmart Spunky Pro Wireless Headphones Charging and Carrying Case 3 sets of earbuds Charging cable User manual and warranty card
Very comfortable design and you forget that you are wearing them
More and more manufacturers are joining the fashion of gadgets and new technologies for Smartphone. With the large batteries that we currently have, it is no problem to use wireless headphones like these for hours. In addition, we have models on the market as well designed and discreet as these , at a simply groundbreaking price, which does not exceed 30 euros.
The Tronsmart Spunky Pro are in-ear headphones designed especially for taking up little space and for off-road use. And it is that the set is so small that it almost fits completely in our ear weighing only 47 g as a whole and with measures of 19 x 15.5 x 21 mm. A very important quality is that they have IPX protection for sweat and humidity, so we will have no problems while doing sports.
The design of the drivers is basically a small ergonomic cylindrical button with the tube covered by rubber that will be inserted into our ears. Each of the headphones has a signal in which ear they go, and their placement is quite simple when we take the trick. The idea is that they are completely attached to the ear in such a way that they do not fall, no matter what we do. That's what I mean by taking the trick.
They come with three sets of rubbers, the ones that have been placed at the factory are those of size S, the smallest by far and perhaps more geared towards children or very small ears. The other two games are size M and L, although almost always the M will be the best fit for almost anyone.
Case design, almost the best you have
We go on to see in more detail the case of the Tronsmart Spunky Pro, which in my view the manufacturer has done a sensational job of design and functionality. Basically it is a rigid plastic case with a round and oval design with measures of 60 mm in diameter and 34.5 mm in height. It practically fits in a pocket without problems, and of course in a bag.
On the side we find the USB Type-C charging connector which we should normally use with a PC or similar equipment, without ruling out the power strips with integrated USB. No voltage or intensity data is specified for the load, but we recommend that it be 5V and 1 or 2A so as not to get your fingers caught.
At the other end of the side we find a button that we will press so that the top cover opens automatically. In this way we can turn it and access the compartment where the headphones are placed. We have two holes with two metal contacts where they fit perfectly. In turn, a magnet system keeps them perfectly attached during the charging period that lasts about 2 hours in a complete cycle.
And we are not done, because in another part of the side we have a band of four LEDs that will indicate the level of charge of the case. And is that one of the great advantages of these Tronsmart Spunky Pro is that the case has its own 400 mAh battery that will do the charging function for the headphones, in this way we can take it wherever we want as a power bank. What's more, this case also supports Qi wireless charging through its base.
Touch control on both headphones
In every Tronsmart Spunky Pro, we also have an indicator light that will mark us when the headphones are connected (in blue) and when there is a pairing problem (red). In both, we have a double microphone for calls so that it captures the audio in stereo.
And at the top of the pavilions we also have a touch button to perform different control functions such as the following:
- On: 3 seconds on any handset Off: 5s on any handset Voice Assistant: 2s on any handset Increase volume: press 2 times on left handset Decrease volume: press 3 times on left handset Play / Pause or Pick up / end call: press 1 time on any handset Reject call: 2s on any handset Next song: press 2 times on the right handset Previous song: press 3 times on the right handset
We do not have our own voice commands to control the headphones, although they are compatible with Google Assistant or Siri for Smartphone.
Drivers and connectivity
Now we are going to develop a little more the benefits of these Tronsmart Spunky Pro to see what they can offer us. In the same way I will tell my experience of use with them.
These headphones can only be connected wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 to the sound source, and the approximate coverage distance at good quality is 10m. In our tests we have been able to go a little further if there are no walls or solid objects in between, although this will increase the battery consumption of the headphones.
And speaking of the battery, we have one integrated in each earphone with 35 mAh. Due to the small size of these, the space is quite small, although the autonomy in a single charge is around 3 and a half hours as indicated by the manufacturer. We have obtained these records with helmets near the Smartphone and at a volume of 60%.
The charging time of the case can be said to be quite fast, at least in a USB 3.1 Gen2, although no data on the maximum supported voltage or intensity is specified. Neither on wireless charging, and this time we have not proven that such is due to not having a charging station. In any case, the headphones do take a little longer to charge, around 2 hours if they are completely empty. The good thing about the case is that its 400 mAh battery will allow us a maximum of 4 full charges, thus extending the autonomy to about 18 hours, more than enough to endure a full day of intensive use.
In general they are really good figures for the small size of the set, more than 3 hours is not bad and the case is very small and portable. Regarding the drivers, the manufacturer gives practically no information on their performance, being two 6 mm membrane speakers that presumably will have a response frequency of between 20 and 20, 000 Hz, the human audible spectrum.
Sound experience at a good level
I will of course talk about the feelings that these Tronsmart Spunky Pro have left me, which in general have been quite good. As I have mentioned, the autonomy is at a good level, and it complies with what the manufacturer specifies, although at a volume of less than 80%. Obviously it is a small chore to have to wait more than almost two hours to have another full charge.
Regarding the sound quality, it is better than what I expected a priori for this price. The sound is heard loud enough, not being able to reach the maximum because it could be harmful, at least I do not take risks just in case. In the same way, it is heard in enough detail, although it is true that it is not at the level of helmets connected by cable. Perhaps the bass has gone too high, they are very powerful and deep, standing out over the mids and treble too much, and the balance is a little uneven.
In any case, the quality of the stereo is good despite being two completely independent drivers, and the interconnection between them has not been lost at any time, which is a very important detail in this type of headphones. The way to use them is also very simple, since we can turn them off or on by pressing the buttons integrated in the drivers. Although this will go into the background, since when we put them in the automatic case they will turn off, and when we take them to use them they will automatically turn on.
In terms of calls, the headphones work perfectly as expected, although it seems that we have to raise our voices a little if we have noise nearby so that we are heard with enough quality. Obviously they must be microphones with good range as they are quite far from the mouth, and although they have noise suppression, in the end we are going to sneak part of it.
Final words and conclusion about Tronsmart Spunky Pro
As always, let's first make the most remarkable thing about these Tronsmart Spunky Pro, which for me is its design. They are very small in-ear headphones and with excellent finishes of both the drivers and the case, to be able to transport them without problems anywhere.
And the second thing to note is its brutal value for money, since the number of features and details that they offer us for so little money make it almost unsurpassed compared to other rivals. We have a completely stable Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, with a case that is also a power bank for 4 extra charges that charges USB-C or Qi wireless. Who gives more?

Regarding the sound quality, it is good, although it is not at the level of other more emblematic and more expensive wireless equipment. The bass has been overused, leaving the other levels a little behind, so if we like drum & bass music they will certainly be ideal. For the price, the quality is more than solvent, and the microphones also do a great job if we are not in noisy environments.
For being so small, more than three hours of autonomy per charge is really good, and as we say the case gives us 4 times more. We do miss a faster charge, since 35 mAh in almost two hours is a little slow.
We finish with the price and availability, and the Tronsmart Spunky Pro can be found for sale on Amazon for a price of only 30.30 euros in our country. As we say, a brutal value for money, or at least that is what we have perceived. We have no choice but to recommend them for users with tight budgets.
