Google Street View is a very useful tool to explore any location with 360-degree images. This is one of the best ways to see historical landmarks, places and monuments from your computer 'almost' as if you were there.

To achieve this type of images, Google usually sends special cameras that capture 360-degree images, almost always in prepared cars. But what if we want the images of an active volcano?

This happened in the Marum volcano, in the center of the Ambrym island in Vanuatu, which has been captured by brave men equipped with one of these special cameras behind them. Incredible images of the center of the volcano were captured by explorers Jeff Mickey and Chris Orsay, 400 meters below sea level. The lava lake is the size of two soccer fields and temperatures of around 500 degrees Celsius are recorded nearby.
