The newly released Apple Watch operating system update, watchOS 5.2.1, includes several new rainbow- inspired watch faces that will help users celebrate the next Pride day of 2019.

Pride returns to Apple Watch

As it did last year, Apple has released a new version of watchOS which includes new "Pride" dials. Unlike what happened twelve months ago, when only one sphere was launched, this time there are several models available. Instead of the six rainbow-spaced lines, one of the watch's new digital dials, the one that would correspond to its predecessor's update, takes up the entirety of it. In addition, they also move when touched.

On this occasion, two new analog dials have also been included, which change color each time the wrist is lifted, and they move just as the digital dial does when touched.

In all cases, the new Pride spheres admit a limited and reduced number of complications, the first of which (top left) is the most complete of the three launched.

Additionally, last year Apple unveiled a Pride- inspired Apple Watch strap during WWDC, so after the launch of these new dials, the company is likely to make a new strap design available to users as well. Matching rainbows with these watchfaces.

We remember that every year Apple participates in the pride parade in San Francisco in support of the LGBTQ community. Employees march in the parade, and Apple creates T-shirts and other items in tribute, while organizing different celebrations throughout the month of June.
