Xigmatek overtake, a glass tower and
Table of contents:
Xigmatek Overtake not only stands out for its name, but especially for its mounting options for large radiators. It has a total of three planned mounting points at the rear, where there is room for two 120mm fans or a 240mm radiator.
Xigmatek Overtake, An E-ATX glass tower with great cooling support
The radiators can be mounted vertically on the front of the box. On the one hand, this creates space for particularly deep models, and on the other hand, space is gained by allowing a second rear fan and thus the installation of a 240 or 280mm radiator in the rear position at the same time.
Simultaneous mounting of both positions is possible because the power supply is also vertically mounted on the motherboard. Therefore, the radiators can only be used in this position in a format of maximum 240 or 280 mm. Large format models up to 360 and 480 mm fit behind the front of the tower, which is covered in glass on three sides.

As an alternative, up to eleven 120mm or nine 140mm fans can be used in the case. However, based on product photos, none have been supplied. This decision has to do with the segment of users to which it is focused; Users who build their own cooling circuits often add their own RGB fans. Only a light strip in front of the I / O panel provides a colorful light for the chassis.
Coolers and graphics cards, which can also be mounted vertically with an accessory kit, don't limit the Overtake in its dimensions. Hard drives disappear behind the tray on the main board. There are two 2.5 ″ mounts there and two mounting points also suitable for 3.5 ″ hard drives.
Price and availability
Xigmatek has not disclosed when and at what price the Overtake will hit dealer shelves. Leaving out fans and hard drive bays suggests market prices of just under 100 euros. We will keep you informed.
