Debian 8.7 now available for download

Debian 8.7 is a new installation image

Debian 8.7 is a new maintenance update that offers users the possibility to install the system from scratch with a large number of updates that have been arriving to the system. It is a version aimed at new installations since those with the operating system currently installed can enjoy all the news just by performing an update from the command terminal.

sudo apt-get update & sudo apt-get upgrade

The main improvements are focused on improving the security of the system as well as solving some serious errors that have been present previously, in summary security and stability patches in the installation image. The new Debian 9 version will be released in the middle of the year, although this will not prevent Debian 8 from having support until 2020.
