Kingston has announced the launch of its new series of Kingston UV500 SSD devices, which are manufactured using 3D NAND memory technology to offer a highly competitive solution in terms of price and performance.

The new Kingston UV500 storage devices arrive in 2.5 ″, M.2 2280 and mSATA form factors to fit the needs of all users. In all cases, a Marvell 88SS1074 controller has been mounted, along with memory chips based on 3D NAND technology, a combination that is capable of offering high performance while maintaining a tight production cost. These SSDs are capable of offering ten times the speed of a traditional mechanical hard drive.

Kingston has thought about the security of user data, so the UV500 supports hardware AES 256-bit data encryption, ensuring maximum security without compromising system performance. Kingston offers several versions with capacities of 120 GB, 240 GB, 480 GB, 960 GB and 1920 GB.

In terms of performance, these Kingston UV500 are capable of reaching a sequential read and write rate of 520 MB / s and 500 Mb / s respectively, their 4K random performance remains at 79, 000 / 45, 000 IOPS respectively in read operations and writing. This great performance will make the operating system and programs load much faster.
