Memory specialist Kingston has announced the launch of its new Kingston UV400 solid state hard drives (SSDs) that seek to gain a foothold in the market by offering excellent performance at a very competitive price.

The new Kingston UV400 SSDs allow you to start the operating system in a very short time as well as achieving a high transfer rate when moving your files for greater comfort. They include a Marvell 88SS1074 quad-core controller along with NAND TLC memory technology to achieve ten times faster than a traditional mechanical hard drive. The Kingston UV400s achieve a sequential read speed of 550 MB / s and a sequential write rate of 500 MB / s.

These new SSDs are built with an aluminum chassis and arrive in a classic SATA III 6 GB / s format to achieve the greatest possible compatibility with all computers. In addition to their great performance, they are a much more reliable option than HDDs, so your most precious data will be more secure to avoid catastrophic losses.
The Kingston UV400 comes in a bundle that includes everything you need for installation: screws, cables, 3.5-inch adapter, 9mm-height adapter and Acronis data migration software. They come in 120GB, 240GB, 480GB and 960GB variants with a 3 year warranty and a TBW of 50TB, 100TB, 200TB and 400TB respectively.
