Yesterday afternoon, Apple released the first trial version of the upcoming iOS 12.3 update for those users enrolled in the company's public beta program. This first beta arrived just a day after it was made available to developers, and a few days after the official launch of iOS 12.2 that Apple News + introduced, although limited to little more than the United States.

iOS 12.3 and Apple TV Ap

Users enrolled in Apple's public beta program will receive the update to the first iOS 12.3 public beta via OTA, as long as they have previously installed the necessary certificate on their iPhone or iPad device. And among its novelties the new version of the TV app stands out that we could already observe during the event on Monday.

As I was saying, iOS 12.3 incorporates the new TV application that Apple showed for the first time at its event on March 25, where the Apple Card was also announced. This application is an updated version of the previous application that facilitates access to all audiovisual content to which the user is subscribed from a single place: television series and programs, movies, sports, news and much more.

The updated TV application has improved the recommendations of available content through a new section "For you", which suggests programs and movies that would respond to the user's tastes based on their history.

It also includes a new feature called Channels . These are services to which the user can register directly in the TV application without having to open another application. Some of the Channels include CBS All Access, Starz, Showtime, HBO, Nickelodeon, Mubi, The History Channel Vault, and Comedy Central, but not Netflix, which has already announced that it would not be integrating into this service.
