We start the week with other comparisons whose main protagonist is the Doogee DG 550, which is measured this time with one of our Professional Review veteran: the Motorola Moto G. Throughout the article you can see how the differences between most of its features are quite evident, but let's not kid ourselves, knowing which one is the best Smartphone is not our style. At Professional Review we like to go further, looking especially at its value for money to find out which of them is superior in this regard. We begin:

Technical characteristics:

Designs: Regarding size, the Moto G has smaller dimensions of 129.9 mm high x 65.9 mm wide x 11.6 mm thick and weighs 143 grams, compared to 153 mm high x 76 mm wide x 6.5 mm thick and weighs 134 grams presented by the DG 550. The Moto G has a pair of shock-resistant casings: the "Grip Shell ", which has small “Stops” that allow the Smartphone to be placed upside down without being scratched. Its other casing is known as the “ Flip Shell ”, which allows the device to be closed completely except for the part of the screen, which has an opening to be able to use it without any problem. The DG 550 has a body made of resistant metal, which gives it strength and elegance. Available in black and white.

Screens: The DG has 5.5 inches, making it superior to that of the Moto G, which stays at 4.5 inches. They do share a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. In the case of the Doogee we also have IPS technology in mind, providing it with an almost complete viewing angle and very vivid colors; in addition to OGS technology, responsible for energy saving. The Motorola case is protected from bumps and scratches thanks to the glass manufactured by the company Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Processors: The Moto G features a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU running at 1.2 GHz and Adreno 305 GPU, while the DG 550 features a MTK6592 Octa-core SoC running at 1.7 GHz and a Mali graphics chip - 450 MP. The two terminals share the same 1 GB RAM and Android as the operating system, in version 4.3 Jelly Bean if we refer to the Moto G (Upgradeable) and Android 4.2.9 in the case of the Doogee.

Cameras: The 5 megapixels of the Moto G main lens are not enough to beat the DG 550 and its 13 megapixels, both with LED flash. Nor do they coincide in terms of its front camera, which has 1.3 megapixels in the case of Motorola and 5 megapixels if we talk about the Doogee, very useful for taking snapshots or video calls. Both smartphones make HD 720p video recordings at 30 fps.

Internal Memories: Although both smartphones coincide in the fact that they have the same 16 GB model for sale, in the case of the Moto G there is another 8 GB one. The Doogee also has a microSD card slot of up to 32 GB, while the Motorola terminal lacks this feature, although it manages with a free storage of 50 GB on Google Drive.

Batteries: the 2070 mAh of capacity that the non-removable battery of the Moto G presents is not enough to reach the 2600 mAh that the DG 550 contains. However, and taking into account the rest of its characteristics, it is possible that their autonomies do not differ as much as one might initially expect.

Connectivity: both terminals have connections such as WiFi, Micro-USB, 3G, Bluetooth or FM radio, without the 4G / LTE technology being present in any case.
