The ryzen 9 3950x is 24% more powerful than the core i9
Table of contents:
In less than a month the new Ryzen 9 3950X will be on the market and we have new interesting comparatives to show. On the other side of the spectrum, we find Intel Core X as the direct competition of these units. However, the latest benchmarks of the Core i9-10980XE do not shed much light, since of the two components the Ryzen comes out winning (and not by little) .
The 16-core Ryzen 9 3950X is more powerful than the 18-core Core i9-10980XE
Recently, different benchmarks belonging to two top processors AMD and Intel have been revealed and have been filtered by the user TUM_APISAK. Peculiarly, both leaks have been quite followed and the data is quite peculiar.
In case you do not know this popular application, 3DMark is a set of benchmarks that allow us to test the performance of our CPU , GPU and others. The tests are continually updated and every few years they present increasingly demanding tests according to the advancement of technology.
The issue is that the user has taken information from both the Ryzen 9 3950X and the Core i9-10980XE , so the comparisons are obvious.
In this case, the Ryzen 9 3950X managed to reach a figure of 32, 082 points in the physics test, while its opponent only reached 25, 838 points.
Intel
AMD
It is true that this test is the most remarkable of all, but it is that the difference of up to 24%.
Considering that the Ryzen processor has 16 cores and the Intel 18, we see how the advantage of more powerful architectures makes a difference.
We also have data taken from Geekbench 5 we also have data, although only from the Ryzen 9 3950X .
On the one hand, with a B450 AROUS PRO WI-FI motherboard the processor manages to reach 1314 and 11, 140 points in single / multi-core. On the other hand, with an X570 test board the unit reaches 1276 and 15, 401 points, although the data is somewhat inconsistent.
What do you think of these new data? Would you buy the Intel on an AMD? Share your ideas in the comment box.
