Intel has expanded its line of top-of-the-line processors for PCs with the announcement of the new Core i9-7980XE and Core i9-7960X models that are part of the Skylake-X family that has been designed to offer users the best possible performance.
Core i9-7980XE and Core i9-7960X now available
First we have the Core i9-7960X which is made up of 16 cores and 32 threads and next we have the top of the range model, the Core i9-7980XE with an impressive configuration of 18 cores and 36 threads of processing that work at a speed of 2.6 GHz which can go up to a maximum of 4.4 GHz under turbo mode. The latter's features are completed with 24.75 MB of L3 cache and 18 MB of L2 cache to offer the best possible performance.
