Intel unveils ssd 600p with 3d nand memory

Intel has announced its new SSDs with 16 nm 3D 32-layer TLC NAND memory, prepared for the most 'earthly' public sector, consisting of the 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB format models. M.2 2280, we are talking about the 600p SSD.

This ultra-fast 3D NAND memory SSD disk uses the new PCIe 3.0 x 4 interface, which allows you to take advantage of the full speed of this disk reaching 1800 MB / s of reading and 560 MB / s of sequential writing, 155, 000 IOPS of reading and 128, 000 IOPS for random write of 4KB files.

The Intel SSD 600p also stands out for its very low power consumption, operating at idle at 5 mW and active only consumes about 2 W of power, an abysmal difference with any mechanical hard drive. The cheapest model of the 600p SSD with 128GB of capacity is costing about $ 70, $ 105 for the 256GB model, and $ 190 for the 512GB model.

Intel DC P3520, NAND 3D SSD for servers

For servers the DC P3520 has been announced (among others) for the PCIe 3.0 x 4 interface that maintains practically the same read speed but increases the write speed to 1350 MB / s (about three times more than the 600p SSD). For both disks Intel is giving a 5 year warranty and will be available from the beginning of September.
