Mad catz presents the limited edition of the mouse rat 8+ 1000

Gaming peripherals company Mad Catz is turning 30 in 2019. To celebrate, they are launching a new limited-edition version of their RAT 8+ 1000 optical gaming mouse. The edition seems really 'limited', as they will only offer 1, 000 units worldwide, especially for collectors.

Mad Catz RAT 8+ 1000 30th anniversary edition

Unlike other Mad Catz mice, the RAT 8+ 1000 has a matte black and brushed chrome design with gold accents. Inside, it has a Pixart PMW 3389 optical sensor, which supports up to 16, 000 CPI with an acceleration of 50g.

The main buttons use Japanese OMRON switches, all rated for a 50-million-click life.

Do you have RGB LED lighting?

Like any high-end mouse these days, the Mad Catz RAT 8+ 1000 has RGB LED lighting. In fact, it has three independent RGB Led lighting zones. Users can choose any of the 16.8 million colors available and set individual profile colors.
