Microsoft edge adds support for ipad split view

Microsoft has released a new beta version of Microsoft Edge for iOS on the iPad, as part of a new update with version number 42.2.0. This update stands out for offering users of the Apple device the possibility of using the split view function in the browser, to view two websites simultaneously when using an iPad in landscape mode.
Microsoft Edge already takes advantage of the divided view of the iPad
Apple introduced the iPad Air 2's split view multitasking feature as part of the iOS 9 update at the 2015 World Developers Conference. It is a feature that allows users to work with multiple applications at the same time, and that It has received many improvements since its first implementation. i OS 11 arrived last year with the latest major enhancement to this exciting feature, allowing users to place applications in a slider and split view on the left side of the screen.

From now on, Microsoft Edge users on the Apple platform will be able to enjoy all the benefits that this split view function brings. The update also adds some quite interesting additional improvements, among the most notable are the following:

This update is only available to iPad users using the beta version of Edge through the Testflight app, it will reach other users in the near future.
