The MSI Clutch GM60 mouse is presented in a cardboard box based on the black and red colors, the corporate colors of MSI and which represent the gaming spirit of all its products. The box details all the most important characteristics of the product, and is based on a novel two-compartment design, this makes the box open, leaving everything hidden inside visible thanks to its two windows, a spectacular presentation for a luxury product like this.

A very remarkable aspect of the MSI Clutch GM60 mouse , is that its two side panels can be changed by those that MSI attaches extra in the bundle, these offer a greater surface to support the fingers, than those that come standard with the mouse, which may be beneficial for some users. MSI also attaches a replacement top panel, this is identical to the one that already comes cheap and will serve as a replacement when worn out by use.

We already focus our eyes on the MSI Clutch GM60 mouse, the design of this is spectacular and combines the use of metal and plastic, which gives it a sensational and very premium appearance. The bad thing about using metal is that the weight is very high, 170 grams, a figure that makes it the heaviest mouse that has passed through my hands. This high weight will give us greater precision when sliding the mouse, although in return it will be less agile when making sudden movements. The dimensions reach 130.3 mm x 65.5 mm x 39 mm so it is not excessively large.

MSI Clutch GM60 works with a USB cable, this is detachable, which will facilitate the transport of the mouse to go to an event, or to friends' house to give them a little envy. MSI attaches two cables of different lengths, perfect to adapt to the needs of all users.

In the upper area are the two main buttons next to the scroll wheel and an additional button for changing DPI. The wheel is quite large and has a touch that grips the finger very well.

On each of the sides we have two additional buttons, which makes the MSI Clutch GM60 mouse offer a total of eight buttons. Having buttons on both sides makes it an ideal mouse for left-handed users, as it is a completely symmetrical mouse.

As we have said before, the two side panels can be exchanged for the two additional ones, the fastening system of the panels is magnetic, so removing and putting them on is extremely simple. This is how the mouse looks with the two spare panels.

The top panel can also be changed as mentioned before, although the attachment is identical to the one that comes standard.

In the lower area of the mouse we find the PixArt PWM 3330 optical sensor, it has an adjustable sensitivity in values between 100 and 10, 800 DPI. This sensor offers a polling rate of 1000 Hz for high precision and operational reliability.

MSI has integrated its advanced RGB Mystic Light LED lighting system in the rear and on the sides as we will see later.

MSI Gaming Center Software

MSI Clutch GM60 is compatible with the MSI Gaming Center application, which we can download from the manufacturer's official website. We can use the mouse without the application, but we recommend installing it to take full advantage of it. This application only works on MSI computers, we don't have any so we can't teach you?

Fortunately, the rest of us mortals can still configure the lighting of the mouse with the MSI Mystic Light application, this offers us the possibility of choosing between 16.8 million colors and multiple light effects.

Final words and conclusion about MSI Clutch GM60

MSI Clutch GM60 is a mouse with a spectacular build quality, the possibility of interchanging the panels gives it a plus that will make it better adapted to the least of all users. Its symmetrical design with additional buttons on both sides is also a very interesting addition considering left-handed users, who will have no problem taking full advantage of this product.

What we liked the least about its design is that it is very heavy, 170 grams is a very high figure that will make the user feel tired on the wrist after a long session of use, it is what has the use of metal. This mouse is quite flat, which makes it better adapted to the claw type grip than to the palm, because the position of a palm grip is a bit forced and it is not the most comfortable in this MSI Clutch GM60.

Its PixArt PWM 3330 optical sensor works very well, although we miss the PWM 3360, the top of the range and that is what we find in almost all high-end gaming mice. The difference in a real use is negligible, but since we are paying a high price, that less than include the best.

Finally, the MSI Mystic Light lighting system gives it a spectacular aesthetic, it is a very customizable lighting so we can make our desk look unique.
