The MSI GS63VR 7RF is a notebook with a very compact size for high performance notebook features. It has a 15.6-inch screen with a 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution. The screen is made of a matte IPS panel with Anti-Glare that in our tests has left us with a great taste in the mouth.

It has super reduced dimensions of 380 x 249 x 17.7 mm and a weight of 1.8 kg. Among its connections we find:

We really liked that MSI is dedicated for incorporating True Color technology into an ultrabook laptop. This technology offers better contrast and color range. That is to say, we have a sharper image and with a "true color", this is ideal for users who need their laptop to work and play.

In general lines its design seems to us a success. We have chosen to pass only the games to the resolution: 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) so you can see what good performance it offers. We didn't want to play in 4K because the GTX 1060 doesn't have enough power to defend itself.

The MSI GS63VR 7RF is one of the best gamer ultrabook proposals that we can currently find on the market. At just 17.7mm wide, 15.6-inch 4K display with IPS panel, i7 processor, GTX 1060, and high- performance PCI Express SSD are its main features.

Our experience while playing could not have been better. Excellent performance in Full HD resolution (scales very well from 4K) to major titles: PUBG; Crysis 3, Battlefield, Overwatch or Doom. While for work we have preferred to use the native 4K.

Few problems we can get out of the laptop… although it seems to us that with only 3 cells we are a little short of autonomy playing or in long durations of work. Surely a 6-cell battery would make it the best option on the market, even if we got rid of the 2.5-inch hard drive.

Currently there are many variables in the market. The base model costs about 1400 euros (it carries a 1050 Ti) or the top of the range that reaches 2235 euros. We believe that this model for 1855 euros is the best option that we can currently choose.
