The MSI GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X graphics card uses the new graphics architecture Nvidia Pascal, specifically it is the GP107 that It is manufactured in 16nm FinFET and a TDP of just 75W.

The graphics card dimensions are quite standard with 229 x 131 x 39 mm, a weight of 527 grams and a Dual Slot size that we can install in any ATX or microATX box on the market.

We have increased the overclocking capacity by + 140 MHz in the core to a maximum of 1865 MHz and the memories at +225. The result is a gain of just 3 FPS… although not many, but at least we get a little extra.

Temperature and consumption

The temperatures of the MSI GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X have been really good, with considerably less noise and temperatures than the reference model. At rest we have obtained 42ºC (always the fan running) and at maximum performance it reaches 59ºC in no case. Since the overclock has been so mild, temperatures barely rise to 63ºC . We are not as satisfied with the noise at idle as the fan sometimes speeds up unnecessarily.

Another of the great advantages of this range is the reduced consumption that we have in the equipment. Until very recently it was unthinkable to have a high-end graphics card and get 61 W idle and 141 W playing with an Intel i7-6700K processor at stock speeds.
