Yesterday we told you about the existence of two GPUs Navi 22 and Navi 23, both, presumably for the high-end Radeon RX. Today we learn about the existence of 5 variants of Navi 14, which have been seen in the latest Linux drivers.

Navi 14 - 5 GPU models XT, XTM, XL, XLM and XTX revealed

AMD appears to have five working Navi 14 GPUs. The Linux driver lists the Navi 14 XT, XTM, XL, XLM, and XTX. The first two are the already announced 5500 and 5500M (the portable version). The code names indicate that the following two are a cheaper variant and the portable version, probably the 5300 that was previously seen in September.

What is clear is that AMD is working to add more options to its series of Navi graphics cards, both below the RX 5700 / XT, and with models with higher performance than these.

Along with the references in the controllers, we can also see their clock frequencies.

In a different code, we have a passing reference to the Navi 22 and 23, from which we have heard rumors for a long time. The sum of those rumors suggests that they are the flagship Navi cards that Lisa Su said were in development last August, and that the "2" denotes that they are the first RDNA 2.0 cards. If all this is true, AMD will be very busy in the coming months adding new models of Radeon graphics cards, which are sorely lacking at the moment.

Finally, we have the Navi 12 and Navi 21 and their corresponding "Lite" versions. These have appeared in two Linux drivers now. Also, a listing on the Korean National Radio Research Agency website confirmed to Navi 21. There have been suggestions that Navi 12 is more powerful while Navi 21 is a budget-focused GPU. Either way, the latter is mere speculation as AMD's GPU nomenclatures seem inconsistent and it's hard to guess where each will be placed on the performance scale.

It looks like it will be a very entertaining few months for AMD in the graphics card segment. We will keep you informed.
