New intel core 'coffee lake' 8600

The new 8th generation Intel Core i3 8300 processors, the Core i5 8500 and Intel Core i5-8600 are officially confirmed, after having seen them several times in some online stores. The Intel database is listing them and eight other processors, including new Pentium and Celeron models.

The Core i5-8500 6-core we already knew, worse we must add to the equation the Core i3-8300. This processor has four cores, but it lacks hyper-threading, although it tries to compensate for it with a base frequency of 3.7 GHZ, and L3 cache of 9MB. Although we still do not know its price officially, this could be a processor to take into account if its price is between 140-160 euros.

The Intel Core i5 8500 has six cores, and it also comes without hyper-threading technology. The CPU has a base clock speed of 3.00 GHz, unfortunately the Turbo Boost frequencies are not listed, but knowing that the i5-8400 can go as high as 4.00GHz in Boost, we hope that this CPU can reach 4.20 or 4.30GHz.
