PowerColor will be unveiled at Computex , held early next month, to unveil its new RX Vega 56 Nano Edition graphics card, the miniature version of AMD's VEGA GPU.

PowerColor RX Vega 56 Nano Edition

Although it is not an official AMD Nano SKU, this is PowerColor's custom RX Vega 56, which it will call “Nano Edition” , so it seems that AMD is not going to bet on Nano cards as we expected at the moment. This news comes a few weeks before Computex 2018 in Taiwan, PowerColor has confirmed that the Nano edition will be ready for launch and will likely be sold in the very near future.

Unfortunately no technical details were revealed, but we did get a new image showing the standard power connectors for one RX Vega 56, one 8-pin, and one 6-pin. The big difference between this and most RX Vega 56 cards is that it uses a single fan. On the other hand, in the image provided, we do not see it referring to RX Vega Nano anywhere and the design seems quite basic, too much to be from PowerColor .

Unfortunately, at this time, only PowerColor has had the initiative to launch a Nano graphics card, it probably has a lot to do with the current demand for graphics cards, the high price of HBM memories and the very low production. As we discussed before, in terms of specifications we know very little, but we see three DisplayPorts connections and a single HDMI in the image.

We will provide all the information that comes up at Computex, so stay tuned.
