The MB982SP-12 is made of SECC steel, which strengthens the structure and cooling of the cabin. In it we can house any hard disk or ssd 2.5 ″ of high performance.

The MB982 includes an easy installation system. No need for screws. We simply insert the hard drive / ssd and close the cover for installation.

The MB982SP-1 comes protected in a compact cardboard box. In the back all the technical characteristics are detailed.

The adapter is protected by bubble wrap.

As we can see in the image, we have the classic SATA III power and data output. In the central part, we find a button "PUSH", which allows us to open the adapter.

Inside it includes 4 screws for installation in 3.5 ″ bays in our box.

The installation of the disk is very intuitive We simply have to insert the hard disk / ssd and close the cover

To check the performance of the Icy Docky adapter with our Kingston SSDNOW + 96GB SSD, we have used Crsytal Disk Mark. With it we will measure the reading speed, access time, random access, etc…

Note: In all tests the SSD at all times acts as the primary disk with the OS and has 47 ~ 48% of the disk occupied.
