Raijintek AGOS: unboxing and exterior

Raijintek opts for a neutral packaging where what matters is inside. As the main image they use a very retro drawing and letters giving the product a name. Once we open the box we see that it is the blank version, the one that we wanted to test?, and it comes perfectly protected.

Once we remove the plastic and the polystyrene protections we see the imposing Raijintek Agos along with its instruction manual in Spanish. If the photos look good, imagine how pretty she is.

What the Raijintek Agos looks like on camera

The Raijintek Agos is constructed of 0.55mm SPCC steel and plastic, its dimensions are 200 (width) x 460 (depth) x 490 (height) mm and it weighs 5.9kg. It is compatible with both ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards.

Its front is very colorful by combining the contrast of minimalist colors: black and white. For better cooling, it has a metal mesh grille, although we must take special care with dust and daily cleaning. I really liked that the 5.25 ″ bay trims are removed as easy as we see in the following images.

On the right side we have the entire control panel of the box. It has a power button, another reset button, a USB 2.0 connection, the audio input and output and a USB 3.0 connection.

On the left side we have grilles that support the hot air outlet and the possibility of installing two 120 mm or 140 mm fans. While the right side is completely smooth.

On the roof we have two outlets to install two fans or a double radiator. This box is surprising me!

Already in the back we have the hole for the 120 mm fan, 7 expansion slots, outlet for liquid cooling pipe to parts and the ATX hole of the power supply.

Raijintek AGOS: interior

We begin by removing the left cover and we find a magnetic filter to prevent dust from entering the equipment. First box that we find with this system.

As we have previously commented, the tower is compatible with ATX, Micro-ATX motherboards and the small ITX format. As we can see in the following image, its interior is painted in black and plays very well with white / black contrast. I love! It is compatible with heatsinks with a height of 16 cm.

The box allows us to install up to 6 3.5 ″ /2.5 ″ hard drives in the two hard drive booths it presents. The upper one is removable since it allows us to install graphics cards up to 41 cm, but if we remove it, it allows us to install graphics cards up to 29 cm.

The 5.25 ″ bays come equipped with an easy installation kit, we just turn the wheel and it will stay fixed.

The hollow of the power supply is ATX, it has vents (plus a filter) so that the hot air released by the fan of the source, goes outside. It also has an anti-vibration system.

We have 7 PCI expansion slots to install graphics cards. So be careful with the board that we are going to mount to the team. Regarding cooling, we have a space for a 120 m fan, two in the upper area to mount two more or a double grill liquid cooling system and on the front a 120 mm fan that will release fresh air to the entire system..

Its accessories include:

  • Speaker or speaker for the system. Flanges. Screws for mounting.

When removing the right cover we see the hidden area of the box. This area is very important, as it is where we will organize and store all the wiring using the provided cable ties. The space between the box and the sheet metal is not very large but it allows us enough play to hide all the basic cable from the power supply. We can also see that there is considerable space to install and remove heatsinks without the need to remove the motherboard.

Final words and conclusion

Raijintek surprises us this time with a spectacular box such as the Raijintek Agos. Available in both black and white (the analyzed), made of 0.55 cm SPCC steel, is in ATX format and is capable of giving us excellent air cooling as well as compact liquid cooling at a devastating price of approximately € 50.

And it is that the young company wants to break the molds. We buy cheap but we want quality and that's how it's doing it. The box has a USB 3.0 connection, another USB 2.0 and the audio input / output. Regarding its cooling, it has two 120 mm fans. But the options they offer us are very varied: a fan in the front, a fan in the rear, a fan or two 120mm fans on the ceiling and on the ground allows us another fan. But it is also includes a rear filter as a filter on the left side, which also allows two other 120 or 140 mm fans.

Regarding the assembly of the equipment it is very fast. It includes an easy mounting system for 5.25 ″ bays and everything is very intuitive. The quality of the components is obvious and these front grills (mesh) offer great ventilation and the possibility of installing fans with LEDs. It also features a modular hard drive enclosure, allowing us to install both 3.5 ″ and 2.5 ″ (SSD) hard drives.

To improve the wiring system, it has organizers inside the box. This is great for us to leave a clean assembly and with a great breath. It also allows us to install heatsinks up to 16 cm high and graphics cards up to 41 cm removing the removable hard drive cabinet.

In short, if you are looking for a quality and cheap box. The Raijintek Agos should be chosen, both for its design and its facilities for assembly.
