The aesthetics of the mouse is brutal, the green and black touches make it a high-end mouse.

As it is an amibiestro mouse, its design is identical on both sides. It has a total of 9 buttons…

The mouse gives us great grip and offers a very pleasant tactile experience.

The Razer Taipan has a heartbeat or glitter effect when powered on.

At the top it has a wheel with LEDs and two programmable buttons to lower or raise the DPI.

Regarding its interior, it has a 4G dual capacity sensor with up to 8200 DPI. Nice on the inside and beautiful on the outside.

To download the Synapse 2.0 software we must go to the official Razer website and choose the mirror. The first surprise we get is that we need to create an account to log in. Why? It is because Razer uses its “cloud computing” system to store our configuration. Do you want to tell me that if I connect to a friend's PC with my mouse it would have my settings? Exactly, just logging in with your session.

As we can see in the following image, it allows us to adjust the sensor in five sensitivity steps, reaching 8200DPI. On the LEDs, the brightness or breathing effect cannot be canceled.

By default Synapse 2.0 comes with several profiles and the most interesting thing is to be able to customize your own.

As a high-end gamer mouse it also allows us to create macros with just two clicks, send commands and create our own combat system.

Final words and conclusion

The Razer Taipan is one of the best and most attractive gaming mice on the market. Its corporate black / green color design and classic style breaks all the schemes within a PC Gamer. It has a size of 12.4 x 6.3 x 3.6 cm and a somewhat high weight for a mouse (132 grams). The Razer Taipan can be used for any player, thanks to its ambidextrous design and the surface of the sides for better grip.

Among its technical characteristics we find: 8200 DPI, a 4G Sensor with dual system, Razer Synapse 2.0 technology, nine customizable buttons by Hyperesponse, 1000 Hz of ultrapolling and a response time of 1 ms. How is it different from the rest? Including the Avago S9818 "0" acceleration sensor. This problem solves the problem that appeared on other Razer models.

Our experience with games has been fantastic. Able to be the best in shooter games like strategy games or simulators. The truth… that it has a place for any sector.

The most negative point is found in its high price of: € 80. In short, if you are looking for a beautiful gaming mouse, with highly configurable software and extraordinary performance. The Razer Taipan is your mouse.
