It seems that Nvidia's RTX Super series is coming to laptops, bringing improved graphics to market alongside AMD's new Ryzen CPUs and Intel's Intel Core.

RTX 2080 Super Max-Q makes its appearance on GeekBench

A Geekbench listing has been discovered containing a Geforce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q graphics card and an Intel Comet Lake processor. Comet Lake is scheduled for launch later this quarter, so Nvidia is likely to unveil its RTX Super series for notebooks in the coming weeks.

This information leak confirms that the Intel i9-10980HK will be an 8-core laptop CPU, and that Nvidia's RTX 2080 Super Max-Q will feature 3, 072 CUDA cores. This gives the RTX 2080 Max-Q the same number of CUDA cores as its desktop counterpart, offering users 48 SM with 64 CUDA cores each.

Nvidia is likely to unveil its RTX 20XX Super line for laptops at GDC 2020 or during the upcoming GTC event hosted by the company itself.

We hope that RTX Super Nvidia graphics cards for notebook PCs will be released in Max-Q and non-Max-Q (higher power) format. We believe some of Nvidia's high-end RTX cards are likely to be available on systems with AMD's latest Ryzen 4000 series APU processors, a combo that should be a winner in 2020.
