Samsung updates their phones to protect themselves from blueborne

The last few weeks you have probably heard of BlueBorne. A vulnerability that affects millions of devices, which manages to enter through Bluetooth. And it makes the smartphone come under the full control of attackers. Fortunately, brands are already starting to release security patches against such vulnerability.

As it is transmitted by Bluetooth, the contagion is very fast and simple. So it is important that there are solutions as soon as possible. And today is Samsung's turn. The Korean firm is already preparing an update in which they introduce a security patch that protects users against BlueBorne.

Samsung phones to be updated

The Korean firm has gotten to work and has already introduced the patch in the September update. Although, not all models of the brand still have this update. Among the mobiles that do have the update are the Galaxy Note 8, S6, S5 and A5 (2016). These devices already have protection against BlueBorne.

But, surprising that other devices like the Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus don't have this update yet. Samsung is working on it, and it will be released soon. Although no date has been disclosed at the moment. But it is expected to be fast.

There are many devices that have not yet received the September fix. If you are one of the users to whom this has happened, it is good to know that it is because Samsung works on a solution to BlueBorne. So it may take a little longer for them to release the update.
