Scythe's Fuma 2 departs from the previous Fuma CPU cooler, which has a dual tower system with six Heatpipes, and dual fans to help dissipate heat, along with the innovative Reverse Jet Flow system to dissipate heat in the area surrounding.

Scythe Fuma 2, A CPU Cooler with Reverse Twist Fans

The 'Reverse Jet Flow' system makes each fan rotate backwards, allowing for higher static pressure and a more stable airflow that allows the CPU to cool more efficiently.

The asymmetric heatsink allows better compatibility with higher RAM modules, especially when there are two RAM slots on each side of the CPU or a four-channel memory configuration. The Scythe Fuma 2 measures 137mm wide, 154.5mm high, and 131mm deep, which makes this CPU cooler very large compared to the other coolers we are looking at.

Along with the asymmetric heatsink, the included fans are two different models, with two types of thickness, one 17mm including the anti-vibration rubber pads and the other 27mm with the anti-vibration rubber pads. The slimmer fan allows for quality channel memory support, though if you're willing to forego four-channel memory, you can plug in a third fan, though it wouldn't give a real boost in thermal performance. These fans spin at a variable speed, depending on the heat / load the CPU itself is currently generating, but they can spin between 200 and 1200RPM each.

The sockets on which this CPU cooler will be mounted are the LGA 775 / 115x / 1366/2011 (V3) / 2066 which includes the latest sockets. On the AMD side, it supports from socket FM1 to the current socket AM4.

The Scythe Fuma 2 retails for $ 59.99 on Amazon.
